This is a simple python script, which creates spirograph type curves. There are endless varieties which can be generated. There is a page on my site with some documentation:
This script helps you making a HDR image by three different exposures.
This script blends three different exposures of the same scene, it combines them to get the best parts of the images.

Hi.
I'm having problems with the resynthesizer plug-in. I have ran the resynthesizer.14 AND 16 and both are not working, a pop-up comes up. Saying that it failed to start because intl.dll was not found. I have not removed anything from the installed files.
I uploaded a picture of the pop-up below.
Thanks. :)
Automaticly copies the image and insert this. The script creates a Layer-Mask and makes a part of the insert layer invisible.
It's great to have a part of the original image on the top, because than you have a very well comparision.
If you have any suggestions for improvement contact me.
I hope this example conform your requests:

This is a Python plug-in, written initially in Spanish by Mr Javier Pacheco, which from an image creates a standard complete month calendar. It has been translated in English and modified by me to try for more flexibility in the design of a standard calendar. Seven layers (plus an optional one) are added to the image to control the three main elements mostly below it on the page : background, calendar box and month-year info.
The options in the dialog are:
° Separation between the image and the calendar box
° Width of the calendar box relative to the image read more »

Based on the set edge, pixel ammount, color and brightness, this script-fu generates a layer that looks techno.
Here is an example of what it makes...
You can find it when you create the image window...
Script-Fu -> Render -> Tech
(Note: This is my first Script-Fu)
(en) Create a text effect that looks like shiny steel (or gold) and a dropshadow - For The Gimp 2.6.
To create the logo text:
File --> Create --> Logos --> Steel...
Palettes Menu -> Palette to Image
Take the active (selected) palette and create an image containing the colors and their names. Requires python.
Options:
- Font: pick the font for the name listing
- Size: size of each color
Tested with 2.6 and linux, but should work cross-platform.
TODO: it's hardcoded to a minimum of 200px wide - I should change that to something more reasonable. Some nice additions would be bg and text color selectors, and possibly some layout options (spacing, columns, etc.)
Have fun ;)
This is my alternative for 'To slice and merge images' (see http://registry.gimp.org/node/14953).
If you haver use this script; download too http://registry.gimp.org/node/60
Two script for:
1. Set width and height rectangle to split and set as separate layer
2. Split in rows and columns and save any rectangular portion in the new layer
